BIO

Hi My name is Torin Bailey and I have been studying Tae Kwon Do for over 21 years now.

Over recent years I feel that standards in traditional martial arts have declined, and it seems that people pass there grading's even though I feel they did not deserve to pass or get to a black belt far to quickly.

I feel that this is not the way any true martial artist to really understand the true meaning of being a martial artist.

There for, my way of teaching is what we would call old school martial arts, as in You will work very hard, and if I feel your not pulling your weight in your training and study you will not be put through your grading.

For years I have been teaching while under my instructors, But they all went there separate ways, so I decided to open up a dojang and start to teach.

I always find it very gratifying to see my students execute my techniques that I have developed over the years,

I am now currently studying the art of Bow staff & Nunchaku, with Grand Master Bob Mc Cormac of Zen Shin Budo Kai nunchaku do. I have passed my nunchaku grading so now I will now be adding it to my teaching curriculum. Bow staff will added soon.

In the passed, I have had teachers who could not always answer my questions, to witch I would always have to study hard to find the answers I always needed myself.

So Now I have better understanding of why we do these moves, and still to this day I am still finding new things about martial arts.

I teach a Freestyle Tae Kwon Do, witch means I am not bound to a one way teaching system or sylabus.To witch I can add, modify and refine movements as time goes on.

I will always put in 100% into my teaching and will always train with you as well as show you how to do and improve your technics

So you can get a better understanding of what you are doing and why! rather than me just shouting commands at you.

I would like to think that I am fair at all times.

But Will not tolerate disrespectful or childish behavior.
